“Enlightenment”for You
Your 7 Day Program to Positive Thinking
Ever had an idea that inspires you, from deep down? Something that churns up the dust – makes you want to try and do something positive for others?
Maybe promote a certain cause, through marketing efforts such as Twitter, Facebook or other social sites? Let’s examine what motivates you to do inspiring things for others. It’s best to sketch out a personal goal — figure out what cause you are interested in, and where you can do the most good.
Positive Thinking: Be Willing to Poke Fun at Yourself – Laughter Builds You Up
Once you’ve figured out how you want to help, draw up a plan to create your content – for social media, you’ll need tailored tweets and concise Facebook posts.
Be sure to use HUMOR in some of the tweets, and personalize yourself. You need to seem like a real human being, you know? This way, you’ll become known – once you’re known, you can begin the process of helping others.
Yet you should also develop goals (and determine WHAT you’d like to achieve and when) – to this end, I suggest a Goal-setting software like goal-buddy.com .
It is quite helpful, since it gets really detailed. You can set your goal(s) by week, month, or by day. And you can have an Accountability partner, too, to KEEP you on track !
In no time at all, you will have ideas sparking in your head, and you’ll begin to get excited about the prospect of helping. Volunteering your time can be quite rewarding. I speak from experience on this, as I used to donate my time to PAL (the Pet Adoption League) and visit convalescent homes – and write letters to help cheer people up.
You will want to have a positive attitude in whatever you do, so select carefully the organization you wish to donate your time to. Here are some tips to make it through the week even if you’re just sitting on your favorite couch. After all, an idea takes time to form and you can do this while you are sitting. Having a bit of
positive thinking
can help you realize things that you may never have thought possible. Thinking on a grand scale is indeed the American Way, and that is what made our country great.
1. Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Talk is cheap.
Action = deposits in the bank of a passionately authentic future. Without it, passion is void. This is a perfect example of how dreams begin – when you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands.
And if the idea should weaken, you can go back to the drawing board and finish it up.
There are brainstorming tools to assist you in your quest – you can use Mindmapping to organize yr thoughts & ideas. Freemind is a fairly decent tool, for this purpose.
Or you can google “brainstorming tools“, and investigate further.
2. Commit to yourself as well as those you love to powerfully create a life you can love. Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. The American Dream will always be there, but a dream will still be a dream without motion. Be amazed as the transformation begins.
3. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. Every time you hit on something that may appear too extreme, try it anyway and see if it will work.
Maybe use mindmaps to help make the goal clearer from the outset. It is all a learning experience; you can never fail by trying. You will advance your knowledge, until you are capable of completing the task! You will be surprised to learn that there are other ways to get the task done on time. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from – and make the appropriate shift.
4. Dwell completely in a place of gratitude. Learn to utilize what you have in your hands, and make use of it in the most constructive way. Slipping into neediness will become less of a habit when you repeatedly shift towards gratitude, away from poverty consciousness.
5. Use a Passion Formula of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda whirlwind. The former is based in increased knowledge and abundance – while the latter focuses on scarcity and lack.
As you face people or tasks that may seem harder than scaling the summit of the Himalayas, allow yourself to realize that the task is just as important as giving out orders to your subordinates. You would rather be richly passionate!
6. Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up!
I am yet to see a comedian ever go hungry, even though his jokes are as ‘old as great-grandma’. Life has so much to offer — do not allow yourself to mope around in self pity. Humor is an attractive quality – use it. Use your passion — it has life-giving qualities.
7. Believe that you are the architect of your destiny.
No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life authentically. (There is a good book on this topic called “Finding Your North Star”).
As long as there’s still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime. The concept of thinking big is all about enjoying your work, which would lead to celebrate a discovery that is born within your hands.
Watch everything flow into place with perfect, passionate precision. It’s amazing how people can get caught up in something trivial, such as learning how to use a computer, or some other trivial everyday problem.
Not to be condescending, but there are so many people you can help, if you’ll just employ positive thinking in your life- otherwise you’ll be disappointed at the end of your life.
So instead of thinking negative, just take the first step forward — a baby step, such as reading a book to gain inspiration, or visiting a website. See what you can do! Want some inspiration? Look no further than Ellie Drake’s Braveheart Women
